It's been 5 months since Forsty left us to go to wait at the Bridge. We still miss her sweet face and her sily little dance when Daddy got home. Frosty was a sweet old girl who was turned in to a kill-shelter, when she was 12, by her family, because they were moving. Frosty sat and waited for over a month for someone to come and take her home...but no one did. She was old and not so beautiful any more. On the day we brought her home, she was so sad and lonely that she literally looked like she was ready to curl up and die.
I don't think Frosty's family meant to do something so horrible to her. Lots of people don't understand that and animal "shelter" can be a place that many, many animals die...because nobody wants them and there is just no space for them all.
Frosty had 2 very happy yearrs with us, filled with love and fun. We jmiss you every day!

We think she is just beautiful & we're sorry for your loss! We made a pack that we would die at exactly the same time so we never have to be without each other, that would be awful!
Kind Woos, Macie & Malechai
Frosty looked like a wise old Husky. We should honor our elders and keep them in our hearts and woos.
So glad that Frosty's last few years were happy ones with you guys - she was really pretty and I can imagine how much you miss her :-(

Hey Har! Are you and the grrrls still out there? You guys should post the pix of the cool punkins your mom did with Sibes on them!
Luv, bro,
Dave
I'm sorry to say that humans are selfish, and they will cross the bridge and find nobody there to greet them, and they will only get to watch as others are greeted with unconditional love and companionship. This is their purgatory.
Frosty plays young, healthy, and happy with old Guy-Guy, Nikki and those that wait. She will be waiting for you.

Thank goodness for great humes. That's all I can say. So many of us end up in those places, waiting to die, wondering what we did wrong to be dumped and unloved, and then BAM, some kind hearted human brings us home and loves us.
We can all hope for this much! Can't wait to meet Frosty at Rainbow Bridge, she looked positively stunning to me. :>)
